Do not ask from a Russian what is s/he going to do on a becoming weekend you'll only get an odd eye look. S/he'll answer to you that s/he is going to rest, of course. Resting means some home chores, walking in the park, drinking tea with family and shopping.
Spending spare time here is lacking the neurotic organizing and time perspective is way shorter than we (i.e. Finnish) are used to. For example using week numbers when agreeing meetings make Russians laugh out loud...
